Duration: approximately 3.5 hours

This event will cover the day-to-day issues relating to the management of allotments listed below. It will also give you the opportunity to share your experiences and issues with a representative of the National Allotment Society who will bring along resources and expertise.

  • Classification of sites, statutory, temporary or private
  • Facilities
  • Setting rents and taking deposits
  • Legal considerations
  • Waiting lists
  • Management options
  • Health and Safety and insurance
  • Tenancy agreements/policies and rules
  • Managing non-cultivation and terminations

The course runs every 2 or 3 years depending on demand. 

The cost is £35 to NALC members and £100 for non-members.
