The Nottinghamshire Association of Local Councils is part of a national network that has been representing Town and Parish Councils and Parish Meetings for over sixty years. The aim of the Association is to provide advice, information and support for members, training for clerks and councillors and to represent our members interests on a variety of bodies across the county.
We hope that this web-site will be a source of information for our members, non-members and the general public who may wish to know more about Parish and Town Councils in Nottinghamshire.
We are based at Minster Chambers in Southwell (see contact us for full details and a map of our location).
Members will be aware that Lynda Ogilvie retired as County Secretary at the end of June after 14 years dedicated service to our members. To mark the occasion, the Chairman and the Executive Committee presented Lynda with a crystal flower vase on behalf of all the members and the Chairman thanked Lynda for all her efforts, "often beyond the call of duty".
